Performing Arts Holiday Workshops for Kids!

2 Boards & A Passion run regular fun workshops throughout the year, teaching all aspects of performing arts.

Important notice: Due to ongoing disruption caused by the Covid-19 crisis we are very sorry to announce that for the first year in 2 Boards & A Passion's history we will not be running our holiday performing arts workshops this year. We apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause but we are staying positive and working hard to make sure that we can return in 2021. We hope to see you then. Stay safe and happy.
Best wishes,
Kathryn and Colin

A 4-day Musical Theatre workshop where children will act, sing, dance and work together as a group to create and perform a brand new musical based on the themes from the Dreamworks Trolls movies. The children will perform their new musical for parents and carers on the final afternoon.

Partington Theatre, Henry Street, Glossop, SK13 8BW

4-day Musical Theatre Workshop

£80 (plus £70 per additional sibling)

What Are They?

Our performing arts workshops are a fun and exciting way to keep your children occupied in the school holidays, whilst also giving them the opportunity to learn some new skills, or improve skills that they already have. The children mix and make friends of all ages from other schools and teamwork and respect are high on our priority list! Musical Theatre workshops allow children to sing, dance and act to tell part of the story of an existing musical or to create a brand new musical based on themes from a well-known story or film. Drama workshops give children a chance to devise their own pieces of theatre with guidance from our experienced teams to prepare them for performance. There will a short performance for friends and family at 2pm on the last afternoon of these workshops, giving the children an opportunity to share what they have learnt during the week.

Who are they for?

Workshops are suitable for all children aged 5 and upwards. No previous experience of singing, acting or dancing or other skills is necessary.

What will the children need?

The children will need to wear clothes and shoes which are comfortable to move freely in. They will also need to bring a packed lunch, drinks and snacks. A reasonably-priced tuck shop is also available.

How much will it cost?

The 4 day workshops costs £80 with a £10 discount per additional sibling. There is NO extra charge for family and friends to attend the performances.
