🎭 Casting Call: "The Oddicles" 🎭

We are looking for two dynamic actors to work with us to bring to life our brand new family show, The Oddicles — a fun, fast-paced outdoor theatre experience full of physical movement, music, and audience interaction. A set fee of £650 will be paid. The rehearsal schedule is flexible and a final schedule of approximately 6 rehearsals will be agreed with the successful applicants.

Performance Details:
📍 Hyde Park, Hyde, Tameside
📅 Wednesday 27th August 2025 (2 performances)

Who we need:
👤 2 actors aged 18–40+
📍 Preferably actors with links to Tameside. Would also suit performing arts students.
🎭 Confident performers with strong movement, vocal skills, and an ability to engage with family audiences.

 

Schedule:
🗓️ Sunday 20th July: Application deadline

🗓️Monday 21st July: Applicants shortlisted. Everyone will be contacted.

🗓️Tuesday 29th July (Afternoon / evening): Auditions

🗓️Wednesday 30th July (Afternoon / evening): Auditions

🗓️ Tuesday 5th – Thursday 21st August: Rehearsal period (Dates / times to be agreed with actors in advance)

🗓️ Friday 22nd & Tuesday 26th August: Dress rehearsals

🗓️Wednesday 27th August: 2 x performances
